Besant Nagar - Madras - India
Hot, humid,salty
scalp that is wet and shiny
skin is glowing with the tan
body is slim due to all the running behind public bus
In the bus-stand,
there is a boiled peanut vendor,
you can add purply crisp pungent onions,
finely chopped red tomatoes,
green chillies and corriander for extra,
and enjoy the lengthy wait for a green bus to show.
Due to peanuts,
you tend to forgive the crowds,
and learn to wait longer, happier.
Zen-like.
I love Madras!
I miss Madras!
