Love

‘Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

That is one thing I will give my all

Even if it leads to many a fall

Love can only make me tall

Those who don’t hear the call

Are nothing but small.

  3. one of my favourite quotes, you did well, love the line ‘love can only make me tall’.
    I wrote a song once
    (you won’t like this)
It’s better to have scored and lost,
than never to have played football…

  10. @ Raaga: Yes, Yes, Yes it IS!!!!

    @ Pretty Woman: merci beaucoup

@ Sweet Talking Guy: you are a guy alright ;) and sweet too

@ Anthony North: I was hesitating to add the last 2 lines, it is kind of negative I thought,
but a certain length was needed … yes, I am so poetic I stick by the rules :D

@ Claudia: Thanks Claudia, it is very hard for me but I had to try once to rhyme

@ Ashwini: it is talking with lovely people like you that brings out the poet in me … blush

@ Gautami: yes, it has been hard with my work to keep it up, but this attention is what
I live for…lol Thanks for the welcome

@ Tumblewords: LOVE is my favorite thing to do, I know I need to grow up
and come out of my fairy tale.

@ Floreta: You are my new visitor on the blog Welcome. Just to understand better:

Experiencing love makes us bigger and better, I agree, if that’s what u mean.
But I do not believe in “experienced” love so far. It needs to be spontaneous and from
the heart for me…I DO have to grow up

THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THE ATTENTION SHOWERED HERE….LOVE R

  14. And it’s not just loving others, either, it’s loving ourselves and loving the things we do.

    Well said!

  15. @ Linda, you are absolutely right. And sometimes I am not capable of that. A friend tells me that the G in my name stands for Guilty. :)
